I am having an awful day (long)

An awful night, I should say...
First I got into a fight with my mom about the officiant thing I have already posted. During which she also tells me I always yell at her when she tries to bring up anything about the wedding.
This all started with my matron of honor which I am having dress difficulties with. I picked out a dress that I liked and said that she could pick a dress from the same designer so colors would match. She went dress shopping with my mom (they are friends and the same age) which my mom comes back to tell me that my MOH will wear what I want, but it looks awful on her because the designer is 'too young' for her. This dress issue has been going on for some time and has been the major source of stress concerning this wedding and my mom keeps on bringing it up and thats why I start to upset when she brings up wedding stuff.
So finally I said I would look again for BM dresses so we can find a designer that has a line that is more age appropriate.

Then tonight my TV stops working.

Then FH calls me and tells me his sister won't buy the FG dress I wanted for her daughter because they don't want to spend that much money for something she is going to wear once. I found the dress in the store for $140 and after doing lots of researching I found it for $80. I didn't think that was unreasonable, but apparently it is.
So now I thought I had found all my dresses, and I have to start searching all over again.
I have spent pretty much the night crying my eyes out.
Sorry so long, but I know you girls understand.

Oh no, sorry to hear you are having a terrible day, hate days like that!!

Tommorrow is another day and it won't seem as bad when you wake up, get in bed with a glass of wine and pass out, sleep the frustration off.

I agree, a glass of wine. The good news is today is almost over. Hang in there!!!
There must be a full moon, i walked into my office this am to find out the celing had flooded & collasped all over my office..beyond a mess.

Everything will work out! Feel better. Just my 2 cents, but I don't think that price for the FG dress is unreasonable.

Don't worry, like my FH tells me, it will all work out in the end, and you have PLENTY of time to find a dress you and the MOH can agree on.

Maybe you can wait until September/October?? I think the new styles for Spring 2006 will be coming out around that time, and maybe by then the designer (or another designer) will have a dress more appropriate for her by then!!

I went through hell with a BM yesterday, so I understand the frustration, and it's not worth crying over. Take a deep breath, relax and concentrate on something else. You can come back to her dress after the tension has died down.
