Well girls, I haven't been on in a few dys. I spent the whole day in the ER yesterday b/c of severe abdominal pain...I have KIDNEY STONES I have to see a Urologist today. I have never had this before...Can anyone recommend some advice or a doctor in eastern LI..Please.. Thanks for listening

I only know of a Nephrologist in Suffolk that I like. He's is Mount Sinai. A Nephrologist specializes in Kidneys, but not sure if you strictly need a Urologist. Let me know if you want the info.

Sorry to hear it. My cousin had them and all the doctor did was tell her to go home and wait till they pass.

My ffil get them but his get so big he has to have them zapped. He goes in and they shoot them with lasers to break them up so they are small enough to pass. i don't know what doc he sees but if you can't find one I will call him and ask. hope you feel better.

I cannot help with any doctors but my FH had them over the summer and was hospitalized because of the pain! My only advice is to drink tons of water. Really the only thing that can be done unless it is huge is to flush it out of your system. The more water you drink the quicker it will leave your body!

drink ALOT of water and NO coffee or tea or anything caffinated avoid things that are salty because they can dehydrate you....feel better.

Oh wait... I do know of a good uroligist in Stony Brook that my uncle went to when he found out he was sick. FM me if youw ant the info

I work in a doctors office in Sag Harbor and there is a urologist by the name of Dr. Munklewitz in the Southampton area - lemme know if you want the info. Also -- drink plenty of fluids!!!!!!

i dont know any doc is Nassau but i sure hope u feel better soon. I know they are very painful. my dad went through it a couple of years ago

I feel so bad for you. I have seen my gf at work get these attacks 2x and have had to take her to the ER each time.

my grandmother actually sees a uro-gynecoligist. He specilalizes in urogolgy for women. FM if u want the info. feel better!!
