I am not sure what to do here. Yesterday my e-ring band cracked and my FFIL had to go and get it fixed. I told him also it was a lillte big. They called me and asked me to come and and get it sized again so I did. While I was waiting I was looking at wedding bands and I saw the one thet matched my e-ring. I know that the FH was going to get it for me one day so I (being the suc..er I am) I put a deposit on it. I came home and told the FH and he got so mad at me and told me good luck in paying for it. I really dont have the money for it now and I am stuck. Can you cancel an order like that? For the first time in my life I went and did something on an impulse and now every one is telling me I was wrong. I know I was but how do I make it better. Any ideas? I feel so guillty about it.

Re: I am in trouble with the FH.
Dont feel guilty. I cant tell you how many times I've bought something on impulse. Hey I bought Land in FL on impulse. FI and I saw the property and were thinking about it and the day after we came home I called the guy and sent him a down payment. After I got the paperwork in the mail I then told at the time he was my boyfriend about it. He was a little mad at first but when he calmed down he realized it was an investment and it was for our future.
So dont feel guilty about the purchase. You can tell your FI my little impulse buying item and maybe he'll see what you did probably wasnt as bad as me going out and buying land.
talk to whoever you bought it from, maybe you can put it on layaway and do a payment plan. So much money a month till its paid off.
Dont feel guilty, believe me we all make impulse buying items.

well ... may be he got already other wedding band, or had other plans for it? If not, well try to organize a payment plan if that is the band that you really want. Good luck!
