I am kinda jealous of my friend (in a good way)

my friend got engaged a week ago, and he already has his date booked, RH, 2 very famous singers coming to sing at his wedding, and a huge guest list.
he is engaged ONE EFFIN WEEK and he is getting married this feb - before me! I've been engaged over 7 months and still have 8 months to go till my wedding
I should mention that in Israel the whole engagement and planning of the wedding goes much much faster. withing 4-6 months the wedding is happening. but this is b/c the payments before the wedding are only deposits everything else is paid after the wedding with the envelopes. but still.... I am jealous

I am really happy for him, despite when asking for details he said that I shouldn't worry and soon I will be engaged too - I told him that I got engaged like 6 months ago, but he forgot!!!

aww i know how you feel. i had a few friends get engaged after me and are already married. I was so happy for them but was also slightly jealous that they got married first. don't worry though ur wedding will be fab!!!

I would hit him once he said he forgot that I got engaged. lol.

Well, it sounds like his fw and him had thought a lot about their weddings before the engagement.

I wanted to hit him but cant cause he is all the way in Israel lucky for him! lol

ye by the way he was telling me about the planning it did sound that his FW is in full force planning mode
