I am leaving for Italy tomorrow!!

I am leaving for my honeymoon tomorrow...I am nervous about flying, but I kow it will be worth it!!!

Those of you that went to Italy. How was your flight???

Bring your CD PLAYER and a pack of Cards. That always helps me pass the time. Or you can go and get one of those books with all the questions in them. I am sure you will try to sleep on the plane. It might help if you change your watches to Italy time as soon as you get on the plane. That way you be able to sleep.


ALSO, BRING SOME SNACKS, THe Airline will be giving you food, but nothing is better than a homemade sandwhich or hero.. Maybe go to Subway to something...

Granola bars are good too, maybe some crackers, and a couple of bottles of water go a long way....

I just came back from my Italian honeymoon and all I can say is 'do you have room for me in your suitcase?' I want to go back.

The flight was fine. Long, but fine. I slept a bit and played computer solitaire.

thanks...I plan on taking Ambien (? Spelling) We have a two hour lay over in England which will break it up a little i guess....I plan on taking lots of pics...one more question...

omg, you are going to LOVE italy!!! where will you be going?

about the flight, are you leaving in the evening here, which will get you into europe in the morning? if so, then i would take that ambien about 30mins - 1 hour before getting on the plane, this way you'll sleep the whole way to london (have you taken ambien before? if you don't know how it affects you, you might want to take a very small dose so you aren't schlogged on the first day of your trip! lol).

the key is to sleep on the flight there, and DON'T DON'T DON'T nap when you get there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! no matter what!!!!!!! stay up the entire day that you arrive and go to bed at a regular time. TRUST ME, this will save you DAYS of jetlag!!!

about the vatican dress code, i've never gone to rome in the summer so it didn't really matter. but if i had to guess i would say to just stay away from tank tops and short shorts.
