Does anyone have any suggestions for a local mom and pop bakery shop for a wedding cake? In Queens or long island would be preferred.

I'm not sure if you could really call it a Mom and Pop shop, but Baked to Perfection in Port Washington did a really great job on the cake for my sister's shower. Pics are in my album.

Dortoni is very good. But if you are looking in Queens, try St. Honore on Ditmars & 35th or La Guli on Ditmars between 31st & 29th.

taste of home in bellmore.....they did my moms louis vitton cake for half of what everyone else wanted and its was amazing!!!!
