i am off to my first fitting, this should be interesting lol***UPDATED W/PICS***
ok well i called kleinfelds this morning bc i didnt know what to do since my first fitting is today and i have a sprained ankle and walking with crutches lol. My appt was at 6pm since i was originally going to go after work. Problem is that at that time nobody was able to drive me lol and i cant go by myself. So my dad said he can take me if its earlier so they were able to get me in earlier when i explained the situation. So my parents are coming with me, my dad is driving so ill get dropped off in front while he goes and parks the car and then once in the store ill have to use the crutches obviously but if i take my time and dont have a far distance then i am fine, although from my LR to my BR its exhausting haaha so i can just imagine how this is going to go.
I just hope theyre not filming the show 'say yes to the dress' i am sure a girl in crutches coming for her first fitting would be great for their show but i DO NOT want to come out like that.
Ill probably have to hold on to a wall lmao while doing this
ETA: awww just found out my grandmother is coming too, so im glad she'll be there
and can i say that showering is the hardest thing right now...i had to sit on some barrel to shower and my mother had to help me in and out of the shower since theres a step to get into the shower lol
****UPDATE*******
ok i am back and yay the dress fits almost perfectly. The top part by the bust has to be taken in a little bit, and they can hem it until i can put my shoes on so thats all that really needs to be done. I also asked about taking some of the crinoline out bc it was real poofy haha so ill have to, although once its steamed and ironed might smooth out a bit bc since it was in a bag the crinoline was a bit scrunched. Other than it worked out okay, theres an elevator by the entrance to go upstairs to alterations so that part wasn't bad and while standing to see how the dress looks i put my left foot down just on its tiptoes a little bit to balance myself. Also all the beading on the back of the dress is covered is some fabric so it doesnt get ruined so in the pics cant see it
OHHHH and i was spotted by an LIW'er hahahahaha outside of kleinfelds
my face looks miserable in the first pic ahaha
