I am offically changing the name of my church

to Our Lady of We Never Call Anyone Back

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh

WHY WHY WHY I have 1 little simple question to ask, when can we book the rehersal....its a 5 minute call tops!

This isnt the first time the priest has done this to me, I tried for 3 months to get in touch with him, finally after my FMIL called he saw us, we asked our few questions, bing bang boom in and out in 10 minutes.

This priest has more of a life than I do! He is never there, he has the month of July off and he isnt even doing our wedding, a fact I found out just 2 months ago....thank God for Monsignor Sevillo.

Sorry but I had to vent

Jenn you know what so funny....John lives right across the street, I mean I can see into the Priest's room from John bedroom, do you think Mr. John would walk his a$$ over there and set it up NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, and he is home today too!

I am having a bad PMS day which is not helping.

Jenn, Please the King of Procrastination.....everything is tomorrow with him....well guess what, Tomorrow I'm gonna call john every 10 minutes till he calls. BTW meeting with Msgr tomorrow night

I would but the church is in Howard Beach and I live in Staten Island.....not easy.

Going there doesn't even help!!!! Father Midori (sp?) is never around. You are right - his calendar is booked way more than mine. The people who work there can't answer any of your questions and you have to speak to him.

I didn't find out Father Midori wasn't doing my wedding until a like 3 weeks before but for some reason he still had to be my contact and do my rush job rehearsal dinner (because he had plans 30 mins after he booked my rehearsal - in another part of Queens). I had Monsignor Flood do my ceremony and he was great though.

Good Luck to you! I would just call everyday and sound really pathetic to the receptionists...I think that helped. I called every other day for 2 weeks straight and finally he called me back and of course called at home instead of at work!!! So I spent another week trying to get in touch with him. This was about the month before my wedding and I wanted to plan my ceremony and do my programs, rehearsal dinner and find out some other details. It is incredible that the church is stressful!!!!! So I finally had two weeks to do programs and organize the rehearsal and all church details.....I felt so weird stalking my priest!!!!

Oh yeah - my mom would even ask him to call me or ask him questions after Sunday's mass and he still didn't call. He was always in a rush. I think he is a great man but over-extended. I wonder if it is just him or the shortage of priests that causes this....
