They just came to drop off my glasses!! It feels so weird to have them on! I feel like they´re a little strong but I was told I´d get used to it. I was actually kinda excited. But once I got them and put them on I´m over it. Its actually annoying to think I´ll need them for the rest of my life!! I hate long term commitment!! (which is why some people are surprised I´m getting married!!)

Hee hee! I started wearing glasses when I was 6, to see the blackboard in school and stuff. By 12, I was wearing them all the time. My eyes are terrible. I started wearing contacts shortly after...I love my glasses, but I prefer to wear my contacts most of the time. I have nerd frames...black smarty lookin' ones.

Hahaha. I just got glasses last year (Thanks job, LIW, Farmville, and my complusive reading habits for effing up my eye sight!) and I feel the same way. When I was younger I always wanted glasses because I thought they looked cool and it was another fun accessory. I had fun picking them out and now I have them and I never wear them- I only need them for distance so I wear them when driving or when watching tv/movie and that's it. And they are so damn expensive! Oh well!

Its amazing how clearer things are right? i didnt realize how bad my eyes were until I got mine about 10 years ago.
Funny story- when I got my eyes checked the dr asked me how often I drive. At the time I didnt drive so I said I dont. He said 'Thank God' Thats how bad they were

I think I have the same ones!! mine lenses are rectangular and they´re black. not too thick but not thin either.
Eventually I´ll have to switch to contacts. But I have to do it one step at a time. I´m kinda klutzy and i´m afraid I´ll poke my eye out!! Plus I´m not too bad yet. So I´m planning on not wearing them all the time.(even though i think technically i should)

This is exactly what I think will happen to me! The only good thing is I purposely got really cheap ones. They were $45 bucks including lenses and frames. For here that´s a good price. But the material is kinda chinsy. I´ll prob loose them before they break though!
