I am officially a mommy!!!!!!!!!

Just wanted to pop in real quick and announce the birth of my gorgeous baby boy!!!!!!

On Monday evening - the start of my 37th week much to my surprise - I went into labor and Kevin Louis was born on Tuesday, February 1st at 8:10am weighing in at 7lbs 2oz and 21 inches. He is gorgeous and doing well.

I came home yesterday but unfortunately he is still in the hospital trying to get his blood sugars back to normal. We are incredibly sad he couldn't come home with us and it is very tough but hopefully in 2-3 days he will be all better and in my home. We are visiting him for feedings several times a day but wish he was home in my arms.

Congratulations!!!! We can't wait to see some pics. I know how hard it is to leave the hosptial without your son, I did that 4 months ago. He was in the NICU for 5 days. If you need to talk, I am here. Just think though, he is there for a reason, getting the best care possible and will be home with you before you know it! What a wonderful day that will be. Congrats again! Hope he comes home soon.
