For the past three days, all I've been doing - work and at home - is looking for a place card frame... and... I JUST CAN'T FIND ONE!!!!
My colors are ivory / gold.... Gold is difficult - often just looks tacky. I am trying to go for victorian/classic - elegant is there even such a thing???
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

i acctually saw something like that in one of the martha stewart wedding mags... they did gold behind and then a white crackle paint on top.. it looked awesome!! white with gold cracks all over it!! didnt sound hard either... just spraypaint... -tami

Where have you looked? Have you tried Michaels? They have a lot of frames there. I saw some tainted brass type ones there. (similar to gold, but has a little black in it- not explaining well) I got frames for our engagement pictures there. I framed the wallet sized and gave one to everyone in the BP (on both sides).

You can find the locations on their web site. (If your in NYC, they do not have a store there ) But there are quite a few on LI.

Thanks for helping me look! I really do think I need help... I can't even sleep at night thinking about this!!!!! And its still a year away!!! It has to be a frame - that is what my mother wants and the only reason I am even doing this is because she asked and will be paying for it. The second..I like the simplicity of it, but its a little too shiny - I don't really like shiny gold...
Since I already am using cherubs for the guestbook (which will probably be on the same table as the placeholders? ) I don't want to introduce any more shapes... so I don't think the bells will work ?
The last one I like.. but I don't think white will work - unless I spray paint it...? but that I don't know if it'll come out right since its so rich...
Please help! me!

Try 'Wrap with Us' in Syosset.....they have a large selection of place card frames....
