I am outraged, disturbed and I want to contribute to end this....
I am sitting w/ my neighbor who just informed me of this disturbing act that is taking pla ce in Canada. The fisheries there are brutelly tourting the poor innocent seals for profit. They are skinning them for fur, but they are still alive while doing so. Please visit www.hsus.org and sign a petition to end this cruelty towards the seals.

THANK GOD someone said something about this!!!!! I was watching Paul McCartney and his wife on TV last night because they are trying to stop this from taking place. I didnt know the website to go to but THANK YOU for posting it. They showed images of people acting doing this to the seals with NO WARNING on the TV. I am not usually affected by images on TV but I actually started crying and I got REALLY sick to my stomach. I think its HORRIBLE and it should be stopped. Sign the petition, please!!!

I didn't even watch the video or footage, because I can't bear to watch things like that!!!

I sign it every year. I'm really sensitive when it comes to animals. Someone sent me the link to the humane society last year and somehow after that I kept getting updates throughout 'the hunt' I couldn't even open them up to request they stop sending me automatic emails.
It's a sick and disgusting thing and SHAME, SHAME, SHAME, SHAME on Canada for allowing this horrific senseless act to happen every year.

That has been going on for over 25 years or as long as I can remember. Nothing has been done so far. There are advocates worldwide for this cause.
Until there will be no demand for real fur.......

Trust me, there's not much we can do when people still wear real fur. As you can see by my Avatar, my cat Mazi and I are very sensative about this subject. There are people who wear Mazi fur coats! Write to designers like Jennifer Lopez to stop using real fur in their clothing lines. Fake fur can look so authentic, there's really no need. Mazi needs his coat more than J Lo does

I think these people should be skinned alive as their punishment!!!!

From what I understand this has been going on in Canada for 500 years. That what was said on Larry King Live at least. They also said that seal fur only makes up 5% of Canada's income. Which makes NO sense! Find the 5% somewhere else!!! So senseless!!!!

This is when Im ashamed to be a human being. How dare us come in and take over and harm other LIVING thinsg bc we can!!! When we ruin this planet we will know why. I am not a religious person but i HIGHLY believe in forms of karma and i believe it works in strange ways. All of our epidemics (AIDS, Bird Flu) is karms sick way of seeking revenge on the human race who think they are invinsible!!!
And F*CK those son of b*tches celebrites and rich people for wearing these coats and fashions. They should be skinned alive so they see how it feels.
