I HATE TRYING TO COME UP WITH AN INVITE LIST!!!!
I have 100 PPL too many!!

And everytime we try and take a few off the list, someone comes up with 5 more names to add.

This was the part of the planning process that I dreaded the MOST. Just keep in mind that there is usually a 20 to 25% 'decline' rate. So if you invite 200 people expect about 160. Hang in there!

I feel your pain, I was suppose to only have 85 guest it is not looking like over 100

at this point you're going to have to make a stand also and tell them that you're reached your limit and can't and won't take anymore people and that they better get their acts together

I went through that and finally someone said 'I will pay for the friends I want to invite.' That helped so much because I wouldnt have wanted to invite their friends anyway. I couldnt have asked, but they offered. My mother heard my MIL was doing that and now she is too. Its really helping us out. Good Luck.

It would be no problem if it was a money thing, the room won't hold it

The room can hold about 240, and thats pushing it. When I booked the place, I never imagined that so many people would be invited.

I just sent my list to inkspun- 167 with us! I wanted 125! And most of the OTT are coming. I am so nervous about this. Especially since everyone is paying a set amount to the wedding and I need to come up with the rest! It is only fair since my FH total list is only 57 people but still...

I'm quoting another bride, but when I think about the fact that it only costs $35 for a marriage license, then civil ceremony and you're done..............Wow!
