So i called my photographer last week because his website wasnt working (he is jersey) and he said he is having problems with the server. So I called last week and said I wanted to send my deposit and meet with him no answer. Today I get an email saying that they went out of business at the end of FEBRUARY!!!!! Why didnt he call me? And he cannot give me the whole deposit back now only half he will give me the rest in July. Now I need to search for a new photographer. Any suggestions..... thanks

We're using Velvet- I am sure Bob is booked, but he may have another photographer available. My sister had Jerry from there and he was great.

OMG!!! I'm soooooo sorry to hear that!!! I really think you should get in touch with the BBB and hopefully you'll get your full deposit back.
i'm a 2nd vote for Velvet - even if he's booked, he's so nice, he might be able to steer you in the right direction and help you out. Good luck!!!

We had a very similar situation happen to us back a few months ago. We were so worried that we wouldnt find a new photographer. Another LIWer referred us to Leli Photography (a vendor on here). We couldnt be happier -- it was like a blessing in disguise! He's so talented and his prices are pretty reasonable. I strongly recommend you contact him

We are using Wedding One they are based in Queens, NYC, and NJ. But will travel to LI. You can't check out my album with our e-pics in it. I have 2 friends who have used them -- they are great to work with!!
Well seems we are same date buddys. I am using Queens Bridal I delt with Michelle. She was wonderful. I am so sorry you are going thru this. I agree that you should call Shame on you toooo.

There are so many excellent photographers that are not 'popular' on this site. I am using elite photography in brooklyn...they did my brother's wedding and it came out beautifully.
