I am really worried

We invited about 250 guests to our wedding. We have responses for about 100 guests....the due date for the RSVP is Saturday ....Is something really wrong here or am I just worrying....how can 100 more responses come in three days worth mail ? lol The most responses I ever received in one day is 7...uggh....And I was going to make those beautiful candle place setting....and i can't do that w/o the full guest count...Oh and our hall needs a minimum of 200 guests lol

start making phone calls, sweetie! It'll be ok. The holiday season just passed and maybe the mail is a little slow? I would call people if you can....

People are just still get back to normal from the holidays then next week or so I am sure you will get a ton of mail.

I'm so sorry. I made my RSVP date for Jan 1st and received them all. I was lucky though. I heard this isnt the norm. I only sent out 60 invites though. One ?...if you invited 250, how many invites did you send out? Isnt it around 100?

Some slow pokes may MAIL them onte RSVP date. SO wait about 3 days after that & then call people.

The mail is really slow. A friend of mine sent me a Christmas card the weekend after Thanksgiving, and I received it YESTERDAY!! I guess that if you don't receive them in time, start calling them. Good luck.

Most times people don't send out the responce cards until the RSVP date and sometimes not until a few days after. I would wait until Monday or Tuesday of next week and start calling. You could possiblly enlist the help of bridal party, FI, or family to do the 'dirty work'

I had the same problems. Our response date was December 27th and we are still waiting for some. Most people have responded and apologized. They said with the holidays they totally forgot. We also had to call some. Don't get to upset. Give it some time. You have til Saturday, I am sure a lot will come by then. Start putting a phone list together incase you have to call some people. And try not to stress too much, it will all work out in the end.

I just don't get it either. I mean most people give their guests a couple weeks until the RSVP date. If someone can not decide whether or not they can/want to go to your wedding there is something wrong with them.. Seriously... Chances are though half the time people are just lazy and forget about the damn response card!!! SO RUDE!

Don't Stress - I had the same thing happen to me - i had about 80 people who didn't respond - sooo rude! luckily, people did about a week later except for some who i had to CALL!

Thanks tanbride !! I will give them until next week....that allows for the inconsiderate people who send their response a week after the due date lol....I wonder how these people are with paying their bills ?

i sometimes wonder the same thing - imagine that you actually may have to call some people - and what made me really mad were some people just got married themselves and can understand how stressful it is last minute to do seating, favors, etc!

Some people just dont realize that sendong them on time is really important. I suggest to prepare to call. I know its a pain in the know where but you are not the only one.

I am having the same problem! People have some nerve. I just got one response where my male friend (who is girlfriendless) who was invited alone replied and put 2 persons were attending!
