They say rain for Saturday...... any tips for us brides from brides who had rain?????

mine started to rain as soon as i left the house. i let it ruin part of the day. try not to. u cant control it. once i got to the reception it was fine. we took a few shoots with the umbrella outside the limo. make sure u have a place with indoor photo accommondations. and smile every time someone says its good luck (even though u want to punch them).

I had rain, but it wasn't too bad. Just remember you are getting married and there is nothing you can do. Try to do outside pictures when you get a chance. It has to stop raining sometime during the day. My favorite pictures are the ones of us with umbrellas. I've heard it told to another bride...as it POURED outside her church....
'YOU CAN'T UNDO A WET KNOT'......remember that and focus on marrying the man of your dreams, even if the weather is not what it was in your dreams!
Sorry that is might rain on your wedding day....But please make the best of it and smile. Its your Wedding day for heaven sake....Enjoy it
p.s. I love seeing the Pictures of Bride and Groom kissing while holding the Umberella ....I think its so romantic

don't let it bother you. I know it *****, but once I realized it was def. going to rain on my day I accepted it & moved on. Our photographer grabbed us during our reception and asked if we wanted to go take some pics outside b/c it had stopped raining. We didn't want to do pictures during the reception but we were only gone for about 15 minutes and got some of my favorite shots! It was dark out but the ground was glistening from the rain and the lights..beautiful

I was literally in tears every night watching the weather on the news as they kept using phrases like 'Saturday will be a complete washout' and 'Torrential Rainfall for the entire east coast'. I wanted to beat up all the weather people that were like 'Oh this is a good thing because we could use it because it has not rained in so long'. Anyway, honestly, there are so many things that you can control however the weather is one thing that you can do absolutely nothing about. It was really weird, I woke up on my wedding day and I swear the weather just did not matter at all, the day to me, was just so much bigger then that and looking back, to me, everything was perfect regardless of the weather. This day and age you hear of such terrible things happening so I was just happy the the rain was the worst thing I had to deal with. Congratulations and good luck!

just dont let it bother u - its one of those things that you cant control -- alot of the girls that got rained on took awesome pics with a huge golf umbrella - you got some lemons make lemonade!!

i had sun until we got finished at the Church! when we were done with the receiving line and about to go out and take pics, it started to drizzle so we couldnt take pics on the Church grounds . it lightly drizzled until we got to the hall which was only about 10 minutes from the Church. as soon as we got inside, it started to rain much harder! so we got lucky i guess...at least we didnt get muddy! but we werent able to take any pics on the grounds at the hall either so i was sad about that too.
but dont let the rain 'rain on your parade'. your day will be beautiful and magical no matter what the weather!

I had an outdoor wedding on June 24th. Super rainy! And there was nowhere to escape to except under that tent. And my wedding was the most perfect day. Rain or shine. AND SO WILL YOURS!!!!
Rain or shine people will have TONS of fun, you are going to marry the man of your dreams, and rain will give your day a romanticism those bright sunny days just can't pull off.
