I am sad that I missed out on one thing in single life....

Speed dating!!!!

I always wanted to do it - and now its too late....

I would've liked to have tried it, but then I prob would have just found some loser who would wind up breaking my heart. So I'm glad I met Kevin in time to save me from it!!

My MOH tried it but I don't think she had any success.

Cindy - you are so right - i broke up with my ex around the time Match.com was gaining all this popularity - I was SO excited to try it - and was gravely disappointed.....

So, this would have been the same thing - but the thought of being on all those dates for a few minutes and not have to worry about getting out of it.... Plus, if you go with your friends, could be something you could laugh about later....

I don't think that would go over too well for Liza right now.

First, he'd see she's PG and if he's too stupid to figure that out then she doesn't want him.

Then they'd have a convo like this:
Guy: So tell me about yourself.
Liza: Well, I'm married....

Time's up, NEXT!!!!!!

True - I have noticed I get hit on by jerks a lot less lately.... I may have to wear a prosthetic belly at times when I feel like being left alone!

Cheryl: you ready to go to the baby store, Jim?
Jim: No, I'll stay here and make a crib for Dana.
Andy: I'll go.
Cheryl: Andy, why would you want to go to a baby store?
Andy: Plus sized women.
Cheryl: But they're all pregnant!
Andy: Exactly, you can't knock them up because they already are.

Ya know, I never really hear speed dating success stories. A friend of mine just tried it, had fun, but no matches.

---

I wouldnt go there for my soul mate, just for the thrill of the speed, man....
