I adore my FI. I have been very cool up to this point regarding the bachelor party. His friends are really dumb and have absolutely no regard for the fact that he's getting married. They consider this his BIG night out and I'm afraid they're taking it a little too far. I think they're planning something beyond the normal bachelor party and feel that this will replicate the movie Bachelor Party. I am really worried about this and I have tried to talk to him. I just want to know what your feelings are regarding your FI's bachelor party.

my FH is going to vegas for his but so am i!! i think the best bet if you are worried about thinking all night is to go out yourself. and before you kow it the night will be over.

I feel your pain Alison . I've been going through the same thing since we've got engaged. I've personally seen what goes on at some of these bachelor parties (don't ask), and these are the images that go through my mind! Strip clubs are one thing, strippers in a hotel room are a whole other breed. Bottom line is, you need to tell him how you feel. Why aren't your family members invited? That's not only rude, but suspicious. You need to talk about this, so he can reassure you that he will not do anything to hurt you.

HI, I am not really worried about mu fiance's party My brother will be there and my cousin plus you have to trust that he will do th eright thing and have trust otherwise why get married if you can't trust him. I do worry but that will only drive you crazy

I don't think that I will worry come time for JT's bachelor party for a few reasons......A) His friends are total geeks and not one of them could ever look at a naked girl in front of them unless it was their girlfriend, but none of them have one....B) JT's bestman, OUR BESTFRIEND, keyword OUR, is gay and does not understand the appeal of nasty WT strippers flapping their boobs in his face....C) Knowing JT's bestman has as much allegiance to me as he has to JT makes me feel safe....and D) The guys have NEVER, NOT ONCE had a successful 'guy's night'. They get bored and call me and my girlfriends to come and hang out. So, I'm not worried. They will drink, gamble, etc and then that will be that.

This is something that really upsets me - call me a prude - but the 'tradition' of a bachelor party makes no sense at all and is totally contradictory to the intent to marry. Nonetheless - FH and I are not into the whole bachelor/ bachelorette party - instead - we are either going as a whole group to A/C or just going out to dinner separately and then meeting up at a club in teh city and just partying the night away.

FH cant wait for his. I trust him but not his freinds. But then again my cousin who is like a brother to me will be there and will kick his ass if he gets outa hand. Those girls really gross me out.

Have a night out of you own at the same time and just try not to get the knots in your stomach

Thanks for everything. We talked this evening and he knows how I feel about the whole situation. I never thought I'd be this flipped out by it. I think all the stress is getting to me. In any event, thanks again for everything!!! This board is the best.
