well i wanted to get alot of things done in april and really couldnt bc i was stuck in the house for 2 weeks. I prefer to see the favors in person bc ive seen them on sites and then in person and looks different. But ive actually had alot of personal things going on and lots of stress from that and that took away alot of my motivation and still does. I force myself now everyday to make sure and get some things done. Not only that but if you must know what all the reasons are, i am trying to figure out what my budget for favors are. Shelling out all this money to the RH, paying for my dress, paying off the balance on our vendors and just about everything else is also stressful and i want to make sure we have all the money for those things first bc the way i see it, id rather make sure all that gets paid off and favors can wait bc i can just do edible if it comes down to it. Its a little hard right now when about 4-5k of my money in the past 2 months i had to use towards something else and that was supposed to be used towards the wedding but had to take it out of wedding savings, infact my last paychecks period i couldnt use towards the wedding for other reasons. My dad having heart surgery and i know how much he wanted to pay for my dress and couldn't considering he was in the hospital for a month and had to stay home relaxing for a while. So i paid for my own dress, so on top of losing money i also have had quite a few things to pay for that i didnt budget for since i wasnt going to.

As much as i wouldve liked to shell out on favors for 275 guests a little bit earlier it was a little hard to do. Sometimes even when you budget exactly life happens and kicks you in the A**, so with the 4-5 k, plus another couple of thousand dollars i had to pay for that i didnt expect to well that put me a little behind and i had to wait to see what i can do.

Aw, I'm sorry you've had a lot to deal with in these last couple of months. What is the saying, 'People make plans, and God laughs.' Sometimes no matter how much you plan, like you said, life happens and throws you a curveball. You strike me as the type, if you end up with lemons, you'll make lemonade! You'll work it out, everything will be beautiful and all the stress will be forgotten. I hope you're around to give me the same pep talk...just kidding. I give you a lot of credit. You've had a lot to deal with...I'm sure a lot more than anyone knows. In the end, everything will be beautiful!

yeah the worst parts have been things i havent talked about on here but that is life and you always have to expect the unexpected unfortunately. I think it wouldnt be as bad if everyone else didnt stress me more. My dad is the type to seriously stress out like no other and goes nuts over everything. I cant even have a normal convo with him now, even the smallest thing i say he flips out about. He called me before to tell me to add this couple to the guestlist, i said ok im driving but to call mom bc she is finishing up the tables and she'll put them down and that made him curse me out

yeah ill be around to say that the day of all this will be forgotten on the day of, cant wait to experience that first hand though

FH & I have been sitting here since we got home going over stuff... LOL. Can't believe just under a week away!

So excited & READY! Last fitting is Saturday & just finishing OOT boxes, print programs, pack for HM, etc. Also, need to still go for marriage license tomorrow on lunch.

Glad you are getting stuff done

PS good luck with the DJ tomorrow. We were soooo unprepared b/c we were overwhelmed & he helped to straighten us out- lol. Emailing him our revised list by this weekend. Grouping our 'do not plays' into categories rather than listing invidiual songs (ie: no country, very very limited 70's, etc....)

I know OMG this will be our last single weekend i mean were not exactly single but still omg, my last weekend as a Miss and then ill be a Mrs, its so insane not like i can really go out and celebrate or anything with all that needs to be done hahaha

i had my last fitting yesterday. Now just have shoes, favors, placecards and table numbers. But who knows what else im forgetting right now lol

good luck to you with getting everything done, i am sure it will all come out great.

Pretty soon we'll be on our honeymoons relaxing from this crazy time

Do you work? I think that is what's stressing me out too. I thought I was going to be able to handle school and work the week before. But now I don't think so. I think I'm going to request the week off. I really think it'll help.

i actually quit my job and monday was my first day not going to work. Thank god bc everyday i have appointment after appointment, i don't know how i would've been able to do it considering i dont get back to queens from jersey until 6:30pm.

I am waiting for that energy boost too hahaha, lets pray it comes soon
