I am so ANGRY

The people down the block from us have a small parrot named Yatzee. He's a cute little guy. All spring and summer they let Yatzee out at like 11am until around dinner time, and he visits all of the houses on the block. We feed him crackers, etc. Everyone on my block knows and loves Yatzee. He wears a little bracelet so that everyone knows that someone owns him. Would you believe someone friggin stole Yatzee? I'm so angry!

I saw the signs. It's soo sad. Jeff and I took a walk last night and he was looking in the trees for Yatzee. I hope he comes home...it's really sad the world we live in when someone steals another's bird.


BTW...did you see what happened on Union last night. There were like 30 ambulances around 7:45pm just west of your block.

OMG that's horrible!!!! Why would someone do that

I know! I thought it was a house fire, but I think it was just a really bad car accident.

Did the sign for Yatzee have pictures on it? B/c we have some photos of him too. I HATE birds, and he was the cutest little thing. He's mostly grayish, with green/blue/yellow under his wings.

One sign we saw had a pic but it was a black and white photo copy, the other was just all the information. I hope they get him back and that he was just on a little birdy holiday.

thats sad - but why did the people let the bird out all the time by itself? i dont understand how people have pets and let them out - like people who have indoor/outdoor cats - that i dont get - arent they afraid that their cat might get hit by a car? or attacked by a stray? or predator? or stolen? but anyway im going off on a tanget its horrible someone stole the bird, but i dont know, its kind of weird to me that bird was allowed outside - unless im understanding wrong?

She totally isn't joking. I saw the signs up. We live around the block from one another.

do you think someone from the neighborhood that knew him, stole him? or you think it was a random stranger?!?!? i hope they find the bird, id be so upset if my pet was missing

thats why my cat is always going to be an indoor cat,
it is sooo horrible that people would do such a thing!!!!!!

In all seriousness though- that's really messed up! That's someones family!! So sad. I hope they get him back soon.
