I am so disappointed in myself

I am so disappointed in myself

I have NO willpower at all. I've been trying since February to lose weight. I start off the day great and then when I get home, the flood gates open. Like today for instance, I had a hald a cup of dry cereal, a banana, a pear and a salad with dressing that I measured out (I'm on WW). Then when I get home, I take 4 handfuls of sunflower seeds, a bowl of macaroni and now I am eating cherrio mix. I HATE HATE HATE the way I look and I only have 4 FU(K1ng months to lose at LEAST 15 lbs. I know I can do it if I tried but I am not trying. Can anyone please give me words of encouragement? I am not athletic at all, and I drink LOTS of water and eat fruits and veggies with no problem. In fact, I would rather eat them than anything else. Anyone know of a quick fix? IfI can jumpstart with a loss of 10lbs, I will carry out the rest of my plan.

Are you trying too? My dress is in. I won't even go to try it on yet and it was ordered in my fat a$$ size anyway. I plan on going at the VERY last minute. Did you get yours in?

I wish I had words of advice for you. I am the exact same way. I am good ALL day long, then as soon as I get home, BAM I can't put enough in my mouth. I have to get back on track...

Good luck!!

Two suggestions... add grilled chicken or another protein to your salad at lunch. and for dinner don't have pasta... have a vegetable and a protein.
I lost 10lbs on WW.. i gave up soda, and instead of cereal for breakfast I eat yogurt, I cut down on OJ, and I grill chicken and put salsa on it, and put it in a wrap. I've been losing 1/2 lb a week in avg.
Also, keep your salad dressing 'Light' not fat free. your body needs some fat. I like wishbone light honey dijon.
It really is willpower and on the weeks I cheat.. I pay at the scale.

One thing that may help is getting that stuff out of your house. Go to the supermarket and stack up on the fruit and some low fat yogurt. Now that it's warming up it's fun to eat and if you need a bit of a crunch added then add some kashi cereal or something that'll give you the crunch but not the calories. Granola can have too much sugar so that's why I suggest the kashi.
15lbs isn't much if you stay focused. Eat slow and you'll feel satisfied. You're on the right path, you just have to control the binging. It seems like you love carbs like most of us.

i hear ya!

I was the same way, i would be good all day at work and then eat crap at home

I forced myself to get it together. I booked a personal trainer, ive been running 30 min everyday and it really helps with appetite and the motivation. im not as hungry and i know that I HAVE TO do cardio before I meet wit her or she will make me do it with her

Me too! I've lost weight before and like 40lbs and only 3 years ago but I gained 30 of it back and now can't seem to get it together. I do exceptionally well and then very badly. Uggghhh what a cycle.

Re: I am so disappointed in myself

I go through all the same stuff. All I want to loose it like 10 pounds but I have had a tough time sticking to WW to get it off.
I have so much coming up...wedding, B-pics, bach party....I have all of the motivation in the world,

Right now I am doing a cleansing program (started two days ago). Its VERY tough but is supposed to be very effective. I guess we will see

ugh that was me today and many other days! at least i'm not alone. i'm really trying to watch myself. i am honestly doing better than in the past. i lost 10 lbs over the last 2-3 months, but nothing since then. and i think this past weekend didn't help!! neither did the 4 blondies i ate when i got home. they were WW though! LOL

we all have a goal and a date, that we have to stick to. i keep thinking of what i will look like in the pictures. my photographer can't do THAT much to help me, so i have to help myself!! good luck everyone!!!

Re: I am so disappointed in myself

im on ww too.. the key is dont deprive yourself.. dont make it like you f'ed up the whole day cause you ate cheerio mix.. just measure out a half a cup and eat only that..

the minute you deprive yourself you're gonna ruin the diet.. thats the great part about ww you can eat whatever just work it into your daily points..
and drink a lot of water!!

you can do it.. DONT CRASH DIET!!! youll do more damage in the long run!

Re: I am so disappointed in myself

Point of advice....do not opt for the quick fix. I lost 54 lbs on weight watchers and hit a plateau...i wanted to lose 20 more. Wellllllll unfortunately i opted for the quick fix and tried south beach. I lost 12 lbs in the first week...stuck with phase one for another 3 weeks. Sounds like a dream eh? After that 12 lbs i lost not a pound more however my hair started falling out. The second i reintroduced carbs i put that 12 lbs back on PLUS an ADDITIONAL 8!!!! And the weight seems to be stuck to me. Now im working really hard to get of that initial 8. If i would have just stuck with WW i would have done it by now. With one month til the wedding im working out twice a day and watching everything i put in my mouth. If you want to mix it up, try weight watchers core combined with points (eat ur daily allotment of points with only core foods). If you need any help, please fm me.

im sorry to hear that your going through this. Im going through the same thing also. Just keep trying harder to resist the urge to eat unhealthy at home. I banned all junk food from my house so I wouldnt be able to pick on unhealthy stuff.
