I am so excited, my matron is pregnant and everything is great

She took a home pregnancy test 3 weeks ago and it showed as clear as day, that she was indeed pregnant. She went to the doctor and everything is great. She is due mid september (the wedding is sept 2004. I told her she needs to have the baby before the 18th because next year the baby will be 1 when its our wedding. She laughed)

So far her hormones are a little but she took a lot of blood tests and everything came back great

she is going for some test on monday where they can look for growth and (which totally amazed me) they can detect a miscarriage. if there is growth from her last visit her pregnancy will be fine, but if there is no growth she will have a miscarriage

Technology and pregnancy totally amazes me.

She sounds wonderful. She said she has been getting a little sick in the mornings, but nothing really bad and it is usually just in the mornings. She said she is really tired though.

I am an only child and so is brian (his parents divorced and his dad remarried and they had 2 kids) and our best man and matron who are married to each other are like a bro and sis to us so i feel like i am going to be having a little niece or nephew in september.

I am so excited.

Sounds like she is taking a beta hcg test..your hcg ( pregnancy hormone) should double itself every 48 to 72 hours..If it does it means the pregnancy is thus going well..
If it doesnt double then it could mean misscariage.

a beta hcg test amazes me. I cant believe how they can detect a miscarriage will occur. I am totally amazed.

I got a call last night from my matron's husband. Not good.

No growth. Miscarriage.

I didnt get to speak to her last night as she was sleeping and was very upset.

I thought she would have been home from work today, but she wasnt. I left her a message at home that i love her and if she wants to talk I'll be home and Brian is working till 1am

I am so so sorry for your friend. May she find comfort somehow, through the love and support of family and friends.
