So as many of you know i lost one of my bestfriends to a drunk driver 6 years ago...well i sent an invite to his family who i still talk to from time to time and were very close with in the past. I was really only expecting his sister to come but not his parents....even tho its been 6 years i thought they might not feel up to comming and thinking about the fact that he woukld be at marrying age now.......well i got home today and they RSVP'd YES!!!!!!!!! i was so happy i got teary eyed i am in such a great mood right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
just needed to share!!

That's awesome

FH remained good friends with the parents of his friend who died about 10 years ago. They come over for dinner whenever they're in NY and they said that it makes them feel good to know that their son is remembered

yeah i talk to them here and there we actually ran into them a month or so ago and they invited us over to see how they remodeled the house. My MOH and I sat with them and talked for a while it was really nice. I didnt know how they would feel about comming but i definatly wanted to extened the invite to them cause they are very improtant to me. I am so happy that they want to be there.

Its so great that you and FH do that with them i am sure it makes them feel wonderful!
