I applied for a job at Maritime Music about 4 years ago, right before I made the switch the job I have now. I would have traveled 2 hours everyday to work for him!

My FH's brother was his doctor when he was admitted to StonyBrook Hospital after his last car accident--he sid he was soo hilarious and sweet in person.

awwww...I love BIlly Joel too! I have met him before too, and he is very warm and sweeet! I hated the media for running down to take photos of his crashed up car and stuff...My brother volunteers at the ambulance barn by where the car was, and the media would knock on the dor at like 3 in the morning! Jerks!! I love Him so Much!! Maybe he is available to play for my wedding day.....Wishful thinking!!!!

DH and I had breakfast with Billy Joel and Trish Bergen when they were dating. Well sort of anyway. DH and I were having breakfast at Tabby's, the local diner in Oyster Bay. The two of them came in and sat at the table right next to us. They were going over blueprints for a house that he wanted to have built here (never happened ) and all of a sudden Billy leaned over and asked DH and I for our opinion . Can you imagine????? This was one of the highlights of my life that's for sure. We talked to them for quite awhile and they were both really nice. It's too bad things didn't work out for them. They were so nice that I didn't want to ask for an autograph..wish I had now though.

I know that he recently bought a house on Center Island so maybe I will get to see him again. He really loves Oyster Bay and people don't bother him here. He can pretty much walk in any store and no one makes a big deal out of it. DH and I have a Harley riding friend who has even ridden with him a few times. He is really just a regular guy!

Misty you can try Tabby's or Canterbury Ales. Those are both places that he has been known to spend time in. I'll let you know if there is a sighting .

He is the nicest man, and so talented!
I've met him on a few occasions, and my dad bought his motorcycle. Of course, he keeps it in mint condition and never rides it. I keep asking him what the point of THAT is?! RIDE IT!!!

LOOOOOOVE Billy Joel! Althought he was pretty bad last year with the 'I can't meet the right woman' (read: can't get laid) hoo-ha in every interview he gave.

I'd go for him but I'm engaged plus I'm 5'10. Then again, he was married to 5'11 Christie Brinkley.....

He's always been one of my favorite artists. Last night I watched the interview and said to DH - I would LOVE to meet him one day and just talk to him - I usually don't get too crazy about famous ppl - they are human after all, but he seems so down-to-earth and real.

I've been to Canterbury Ale's before - I'll have to stop in more now that I know it's a hang out :)

DH and I are going to see Movin' Out this weekend - I'm now looking forward to it even more!!

Oh man, I am so jealous of you ladies who've met him. I am so not the kind of person who is star-struck - I never got weird when I met Tony Bennett or anyone else - but with Billy, it's different. What I wouldn't give to meet him in person and maybe sing a little duet together.
