I am so mad right now (long)

Ok so my parents own a 2 family house and even before I got engaged I told them I wanted to move into the other apartment when I got married. The entire apartment needed to be redone. My dad just retired and is very handy. He knocked down a wall so we have a bigger space, he put up sheetrock and is about ready to start priming the walls. I've been telling fh that my dad will not ask for help (my dad is very thicked headed-stupid I know) so I have asked FH on more than one occasion to offer his help or just go over to the house to help. Today I ask my mom what color my dad would be painting the walls and she said 'he's not, you are. nobody's helped him and he said he's not going to paint'. I understand him being annoyed but the 'deal' he made was that he'd do the work and we'd have to clean up, which I have been. So I am mad for 2 reasons.
1. Because FH is too stupid to realized my dad's thickheadedness and he hasn't helped.
2. Because my dad is too stubborn to ask for help.
What do I do now?

hmmm, maybe you and FH apologize to your dad and say it was a misunderstanding, offer to help with whatever is left now?? or just paint it yourselves, its not that hard and itll keep the peace more, and tell your dad thakns for all you did, maybe if you thank him and apologize, he'll feel better?
