I am so not happy right now

Had the talk with my boss and he says 'You did another great job this year. I gave you a 5% raise in your bonus' Well it's actually less than 4%. And no raise in pay because we just don't have the money right now. OMG I am so upset!!!

my firm doesn't bonus us at all..I got a raise but it wasn't much more than you...really, it wasn't.

my boss will probably give me something..but that remains to be seen..

try not to bum too much.

I decided to tell him that it was less than 4% only because I would have dwelled on it forever. He apologized and gave me the extra (totalling the full 5%). That's ok for now but seriouly it is still disappointing. He also gave 1/4 of the cash he gave last year. So in essence I got less than last year. And I hope we get a raise in January. My boss is usually not like this. Maybe that's why I am so upset. I didn't even see this coming. Thanks for listening ladies.

that stinks...i'm really sorry...but look on the bright side...at least you got something...my job doesn't give christmas bonuses or any sort of raise at all...its truly heinous
