I am so sad

I am having a rough time lately....i have been sad for so many reasons lately...may i please be a martyr for a moment....

ahem...

first i am sure we are all aware of my feelings about TWOTY if you missed that one there is a post on the NW board... just don't want to go through that all again

second.. i had just found out that my moh wedding gift bounced... and it was never redeposited... so my moh KNOWS it bounced and hasn't said a thing to me

third... back in june I canceled my b party beause of MOH, she basically can't plan things.. long story.
i rescheduled it for 8/29 had to cancel it again and now it is tomorrow...( i would've given up already but some people paid)
one of my 'friends' said they were going to be in pa to visit their mom and now i saw on fb that she is going to a party tomorrow??? what?? why can't people tell me the truth?? I mean what is the deal? how could peopls just be so thoughtless and stupid?? she lied and then forgot she lied!!!

meanwhile , i always hold everything in... and i am so sick of it!!

And now i have to cofront moh about her check!! this is effin ridiculous!!! its not even that the check bounced but that she didn't say anything to me about it!! ***???

ok vent over..

so glad its friday, i will be drinking tonight!!

**** UPDATE - as far as the fb thing... i did a post questioning her ad she said her inlaws are in town so she had to change her plans...at least it was a reason i guess.. who knows...whatever...

First and foremost... I have found that it's ALWAYS best to go straight to that person and let them know what you know and how you feel.

Personally... the SECOND I saw the FB thing I would TOTALLY have commented on it immediately. Not so much in an attacking way... but just something like... 'I thought you couldn't make my event because you were visiting your mother'. Short and to the point.
Then I would REALLY talk to her about how messed up you feel it is and how hurt you are by it and just let her know how you feel about it. Personally I would have to distance myself from that person as well. Clearly they have other things they prefer to do over going out with you for an event that should have already taken place. She should feel bad that the original party was cancelled and then pushed back... and she should feel bad enough about it that this is her number 1 priority to attend. Basically what I'm saying is... if I had a friend who just got married and they had these sorts of problems with their bparty... I'd feel terrible for them and WANT TO GO OUT OF MY WAY TO MAKE SURE THAT PERSON KNOWS THEY ARE CARED FOR. And if this 'friend' doens't see that or feel that way... then she isn't a friend at all. Sorry. But that's how I see it.

Bounced Check issue - did you get the check back? Usually the payee gets the check back so they can redeposit it on their own terms. WHen you do redeposit it have your bank contact her bank to make sure the 'funds are available as of present' and only IF they are then deposit the check. If she isn't one to be in charge of her account... she might not be aware of it. But there's a good possibility she knows about it as well. Just mention it to her. Honestly... once I wrote out a check to a friend and I totally forgot to transfer money and it bounced! I had no idea... and she called me... and we fixed it. I really had no clue and I felt AWFUL about it. I even payed her charge for it. I'm hoping that MOH will be the same way about it. But either way you are going ot have to call her about it. Just make it like a friendly informative call rather than an attack call. Which I doubt coming from you it would be attack like anyway.

You go drink girl!! Honestly... keep your head up. It can't rain all the time!!
