People telling me how much time I have. I have already been engaged a year and if one more vendor/person says 'you have so much time......' I am going to scream!

I hate hearing how much time I have & them finding out vendors are booked later & worse feeling rushed!!!
My cousin missed out on the florist she wanted because she waited & went back when they told her to!

I only have 8 months left and people tell me that alllllllllll the time!!!!!!!! When I booked my florist last week hes like wow you guys have so much time! I was like your the last vendor we needed to book!!! hes like you dont mess around Seriously..... when I ordered the chocolate fountain the stupid guy had the nerve to laugh at me!!!! and he kept saying wow 2005 over and over.. I wanted to smack him silly lol If it werent for the great price I would have told him to kiss my early behind I am soooooooooooooooooooo sick of it

I know how you feel, with every vendor I book they say that I have so much time, but then the next sentence is you need to put a deposit down because we are already booking 2006. Make up your minds.

Ohmigod thats too funny!!! I have even gotten the.. well if you are interested in putting down a deposit.. I have other people interested in that date... lol then why the f*ck did you look so shocked when I said it?????????

I agree! Besides, doing things early and at my own pace allows us to enjoy the experience and not constantly think about what has to be done before when.
We should all start responding with, 'Well, if I don't do this now, I might run out of money...'
That ought to scare them into silence.

OMG!!!!!!!! I HATE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If these people want to be rushing around then fine, But I know me and I'm going to want to have everything done, and i'm going to want to be able to add small details, that others didn't have time for .> SO SCREW THEM..lol.. I hate it so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They hear 2005 and that's all they hear.. Well there gonna hear the phone dial tone, if anyonelse does it..

Thanks Girls! I don't feel so alone anymore. When do they want us to some. A few months before our weddings? When they are already booked? You are right they say what they want and then 'How a about a deposit?' My 2005 money is good enough for them!

I can't stand that. The other thing that really bothers me, is when people tell me that 'time is going to go by so quickly'. Do you want me to make quick decisions or take my time. Make up your mind!!!

I know how you all feel. We started booking for our September 2005 wedding in November 2003. To be honest most people didn't give us a hard time but of course quite a few made comments about how much time we have. Like I asked. We saw lots of vendors and I have to admit that the ones we booked were pretty much the ones who made no comment at all - just happy to work with us. Guess that made a difference.
