So I just recieved my invitations and although they are beautiful, they have the wrong day of the week for my wedding. The date is right but the day is wrong. STUPID ME, i just checked my proof and I apparently OK'd the proof that also says the wrong day so it's my fault. What should I do? I obviously cannot get a refund- not their fault I'm an a**. Also, I spent too much money to get new ones. Any suggestions? I'm so annoyed at myself right now.

OH that is horrible --- did you do your invites through PWP? I think your only option , short of buyign a whole new set of invites, is placing a small insert, (you can even have it made so it can look just as nice as the invites) saying - there was typo ... :) HTH...

I would do the same.....
This is perfect... look online..im sure you can have little cards made saying this.. just stick it in with the invite...

Don't beat yourself up. &hit happens. Make the correction card, hold your head up and keep it moving. If this is the wrost of it, consider yourself lucky, REALLY. *hugs*

I would call the place that printed them, acknowledge that you know it was your mistake and see if there's anything they can do as far as maybe re-printing just that card with the mistake over again... Can't hurt to ask, maybe they'll help you out and knock some $$ off.

definitely correct it with an extra little card. I had friends who had COMPLETELY forgotten to even put the DATE on the invitations at all. lol. They were just inviting everybody to their wedding that would be coming up someday!! haha She only realized it after all the invites were sent out, so she just sent an extra little correction card to everyone with the date on it. The guests were all very understanding. I know it's embarrassing, but what are ya gonna do? It happens.

lol that's not that terrible, at least ppl will know it's 'Sunday' haha
I don't think it's that big of a deal if you didn't put the DAY. I mean, you have the date and it's not that big of a deal, it just comes down to etiquette i suppose. Just send a little correction card with it. ;)

If you buy new ones...call & ask for a discount since you just bought these. maybe they will help.
Keeping in mind you only need to buy the invitations & not everything all over.

Call the invite company. Even though it's your fault they might give you a discount to reprint them with the correct date. That is if you're willing to pay the extra $$
