I am so upset

Yesterday while I was cleaning my room I trip over some shoes on the floor and landed on my bed. I hurt my ankle really badly and this morning it was slightly swollen. I could hardly move my foot back and fourth with out it hurting me a little.

My best friend's father is a podiatrist (foot doctor) and he told me to come by tonight at the house to see him. I just came back from seeing him. He is telling me that I stretched out 2 of the soft tissues that help my foot go back and fourth (something like this).

I have to be immobilized in order for it to cure, meaning I have to be as much off my foot as possible.

He has bandaged me up with all these kind of bandages until I go see him in the city. I need to go one day this week to the city and have him do an x-ray to make sure that there are no broken bones. After that I need to be in a walking cast for 2 to 3 weeks, then in a soft cast for another 2 weeks and then by that time if I have not tripped again I can be in those wrap yourself bandages.

The problem is I will be going on vacation on 8/17th and he said that I can go but he needs to get in my my hard cast a.s.a.p. in order to take it off by that time.

This completely s u c k s. I am hoping that I will be better to do that breast cancer walk-a-thon that I signed up for today with my fellow buckets and friends.
