I am SO upset and unimpressed with my dress.. I just CARE anymore!!!

Had my second fitting.
The lady says 'you said you didnt want it too low'.. uhm No I didn't!! Oh well, at least when I get into slippers it wont drag too much

I am just SO not happy with my dress. I mean it's not ugly, it's just not 'wow' Frankly I just don't CARE anymore

Think Im gonna change my 'timeline' to have photos done early cause I really dont care anymore if Jim sees it or not.

$1500 wasted!

can you post a pic of your dress? I love my gown one day and hate it the next. You are not the only one. The dress I wanted was over $5k and just too expensive...but every time I see it in a bridal magazine, my heart aches for it and I hate my dress. This week I don't like my dress much, either.
I would get a new one, too...but my mother would go into cardiac arrest since she's paying for it.

I'm soooooo sorry for you! Don't let this get you down. You should go for your next fitting with an entourage of paople and go ouit to the main room and strut your stuff!! I'm sure that will get you in the mood......

I have no family here.

I do go alone each time (except with these photos - Jannshari went with me)

I think I'd be happier if I had Fay as my seamstress but its too late for that (Macy's Manhasset)

Im not happy in any OTHER gowns nor do I want to start looking again.

OMG you look wonderful in the dress!!!!

I felt the same way too about my dress...even the 2nd one...but once I got it on I felt glamorous.

OMG! That dress is GORGEOUS! How can you say there's no 'WOW' there??? WOW was the first thing out of my mouth!
Your dress has such pretty beading on the top and on the bottom in front and on the looooong train in back....I love it!

Honestly, unless the seamstress dropped a bucket of tar over you, there is nothing she could have done to take away the WOW!!!! You look great in it!!!!!

I am sorry that you are not so enthuz'ed about your dress.

It really looks 100% beautiful on you-
we can tell you that but I am sorry you are not feeling it.

I hope when you put on your veil you feel some magic.

ETA- keep in mind that the seamstress sees brides all day every day
- she's probably lost that WOW expression and feeling.

She sees brides in thier dresses 8hours a day 5 days a week. Don't put merit in her lack of enthusiasn

You need someone there to make you feel special and tell you how beautiful you really do loook.

I'm sure that you could have a whole LIW girls support team to go to the fittings withyou, and any other planning you need done. We love this stuff!

Now I see why everyone thought I was crazy when I said I hated my dress last week! We must have some disorted view when we wear our own dresses because that dress of yours is gorgeous!!! And I thought so the first time I saw it! I LOVE it!
