I am so upset right now..

We converted here at the office to WIndows Xp and I had a file with all my wedding stuff, even my newly updated wedding guest list, shower guestlist I sent my sister. EVERYTHING.. and they deleted it.. god only knows what else was on there that no longer is...

I'm crying b/c I am so upset.. I just hope that I still have the hard copy of my guestlist at home...

Well, I'm at my momma's house right now..I had to run here b/c I got a whole bunch of stuff I ordered and I'm soo excited!! My feather masquerade masks came in!! well, just like 15 dozen, still waiting for the feather fans, and the other masks.. feel mucho better..

I also stumbled across the hard copies, which writing all over, guestlists, thank GOD!! now I will have to go back to work on getting them onto the system AGAIN..

you found the hardcopies, that's so good. Don't let it get you down. Anything not in hardcopy, I'm sure is stored in your brain. Write everything down as you remember them

Also do searches here on LIW under your name, for whenever you showed us something.

p.s. thanks for trying with the hair thing, but i wound up finding someone - in my own backyard nonetheless..... she's been doing hair for a bunch of my friends for years!!!

Glad to hear you found hard copies. Just one more question...if your job uses a server, don't they back it up daily? If so, can't they go to a tape from last week and just bring it up from there? Then you don't have to re-enter everything...just a thought...
