I am sooo nervous!!!!

I am scared we can't met the min. of people they are asking for when he already dropped the count, plus it is a Thursday!!!! That makes me feel like less people will becoming cause of that alone! I don't know what to do! I do really like the place and all they have to offer but, can we swing it in 09 and the amount of people? I know prices will be up in 2010 and we'd be paying more but, we have more time to save as well as have a lower min. FH doesn't want to invite people from work , which would bring us up and that would be great but..... I said and he is the one that wants it more then me!!! P.S. He was on the phone with is friend for over an hour talking about it,lol. Help me with some advice please!!!! We need to book soon and I am sooo scared!! The what ifs!!

if you love the place enough, and you wind up not meeting the minimum, there are a few options.

number one, you can eat the extra money... it just means that you have to figure into the budget the exact minimum because you wont be paying any more than that since youre not meeting it anyway.

and number two, and i'm being serious here, if you have extra seats because the minimum wasnt met, i've seen people invite other LIW Brides just to have the seats filled. I think Gina and I were talking about that a couple of weeks ago.

Either way, if you love the room enough, it becomes worth it. If not, then its time to continue your search. :(

I hope everything works out for you... this wedding planning stuff can get super hard and stressful. lol.

Do not worry! My wedding in on a Thursday night also. Thursday 's are slowly becoming very popular. You will see in a couple years.

I know its hard to not think about the wedding, and all the added stresses of life..

But live for the present. You will get the minimum amount of people-I'd love to go to a thursday wedding. i would take the two days off plus the extra sat and sunday!!

And besides that, what is the hall going to do if you dont meet the min. on your wedding day? They may charge you for it but they wont NOT let you get married!!

That is sooo funny you say that, I had thought if I became really good friends with 09ners I'd ask them !!! Great minds think alike!!

Thanks gals, FH says we do it there or no where,lol. It is just such a big step and you don't relize it til it comes down to the nitty-gritty. I can't believe this is happening!!!

so what are you waiting for go and BOOK!!! We booked on the spot at jt. sure we didnt have the money so we threw it on the old plastic! But its worth it!!!

Well chad wen t on vaca and I have a few questions first, even though he said we can book with Mike and still work with him. I just need 3 little things and then we will do it!!!

Yes it is soooo big and i thought the other ones were nice!!! I was thinking it was our 7 Rh we looked at, lucky seven!!!! And the seventh month we would do it. I always look at things like that,lol. Are you doing the ceremony there?

I dont think so. Rob said that he could do it because hes ordained or what have you, but he also mentioned he would have the wine and cheese room set up for those who come early than the expected cocktail hour, so i thought about the ceremony there, and figured we were paying for the wine and cheese thing, so we might as well do it at the church.ya know? whats the point on having a wine and cheese area if everyone arrives right on time for the ceremony.
