Not hiring a videographer! I am watching all these beautiful videos, and I want to capture our day! My wedding is in ten days, Im sure noone is available.

Youre right, I'm going to make some calls tomorrow. FH says its out of the budget, but I just dont think we will look back in a year and regret it!

if you get desperate, maybe find a student from Five Towns? We had looked into just having someone shoot raw footage for us and then editing it ourselves, but then I feel in love with Unique Visions and that went out the window.
From what I have seen, girls who do get videography never watch them and girls who don't get it regret it.
Hell I still watch my Bat Mitzvah video every couple of years.

If you can t it it worth the extra cost. It a way to relive your weddig causit will go so fast. And a way to see things u may missed. And memories to show ur fam and future children

I wasn't going to get a videographer, but I cannot say how happy I am now that I did!! I am still waiting to see it but you really miss sooooo much at your own wedding! I am really happy we did video!

That is one thing I knew I definately needed because that & the pictures is all we would have after the day was over.. We didn't spend an insane amount of money for our video but its totally worth it because we'll have it to look back on! We're using Couped Up Productions. It doesn't hurt to call Rob or any other place to see if there available your day!

call around!! i only hired a videographer because my sister in law pushed it on me, she said its still her favorite thing from her wedding...it doesnt hurt to try. good luck!

I didn't think it was worth it.... until my FH and I went to a couple of friends houses and girls in long term relationships were like 'let me see your video!'
Suddenly... we changed our minds. There has to be someone available. North Island Photography has great videography for an even better price.

Video was not really in our budget...our photographer was going to just video the ceremony...but FH really wanted it for the reception too. So to make it work we are having video for our ceremony and reception and not getting any editing done. That is where a lot of the money goes. We may end up getting a 4 min edited clip for him to use for promos which is fine because we will get something edited for free.

Definitely try! I feel video is so important. Your pix and video are the only visual memories you'll have for the rest of your life. Also, the day will fly by so quickly, it will be nice to have something to look back on and if you plan on having children, it would be awesome to show them their parents getting married!

I would say go for as well. When I first got engaged, I considered not having video to keep the cost down. But quickly changed my mind. Even though I am in LOVE with cinematic videos (I think they're sooo cool!) I went with something more traditional. I just want to have our ceremony and reception documented. Til this day I still watch our engagement video so I KNOW I have to have my wedding on video too. It's very easy to get carried away with all these talented vendors... but if it's not on your budget I say go for something more traditional and less expensive. =) You still have time.
