As I was sitting here earlier I heard all this commotion outside but I ignored it because I was posting here however I got a call and it was Fi so I took the call as we are talking through my back doors I see out the front a fairly young flapping his arms so I hang up and tell Fi cops are outside there were lights .....sorry this is long and I am fighting back tears I see the fire department I ask what is happening it is literally infront of my house they fire men move and I see something on the floor it was my CAT ........she was hit by a car she is currently alive and a emergency vet but I don't know

I am so sorry to wrte this much but I am sooo sad I saved this cat ( Cali) when she was abandoned kitten she is now 8 I know this is not wedding related but I am heartbroken please say a prayer for my lil girl Thanks

My fingers are crossed!!! I'm sure she will be fine. A broken jaw will take some time to heal, but thank God it was nothing worse! Keep us posted! Hugs for you and Cali

Thanks for sharing about your custom built duck house - that is so cool! They are such lucky ducks!

neesiepie - I get more upset when animals get hurt too! I think it is because they are so helpless, trusting, and loving. (For example, I cried like a baby when the wolf in Dances with Wolves was shot - but didn't shed a tear when a human was shot.)

I am so sorry, I two have a cat who iI saved 14 years ago, shes my baby..I will keep Cali in my prayers, please let us know how she is doing!!!!!

I am soooo sorry, I will say my prayers for Cali. I am a true animal lover, I had 4 cats now I have 2 :( 1 dog and a ferret. I am also a pet sitter. I just love animals sooo much… I am so sorry I hope she gets better real soon so she can come home to her mommy!!

I am so sorry you are going thru this. I know what it is like to have a sick animal. I had latka who died at age 5, of a rare disease, and Strudel, my other kitty who died when he was 18 months old from a massive stroke , and I am still in denial it happened. The only thing you can do now is to keep saying prayers for your poor kitty, and knowing she is in good hands. I now have Icarus who is knock on wood healthy and Tiffany who is healthy - again knock on wood. I am afraid to let them out becuase of things like this. I hope she is okay. Please know she is in my prayers and thoughts. Please keep us updated.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and Cali. I am a huge cat lover and can feel your pain. I am the owner of 3 great cats. I'm sorry you have to go through this.

If it's just her jaw that is broken, and no internal bleeding, I'm sure she's going to be all right.

My heart goes out to you, I'm also a crazy animal lover, my FI is a vet...so you can just imagine all the animals we have at our house!!!!
