I am soooooooooooo mad and upset and in tears...

I really really need to get out of my job. I came in this morning, thinking that the day before the holiday that everyone would be in the Christmas Spirit, but apparently, my bosses are clearly not. Last night I get told that I am disappointment and than I get a nasty email from my boss this morning basically pooing on me and telling me to do this project that I clearly have nothing to do with and i'm at the point where I want to walk out...

What really ticks me off is I try and try and try to accomplish everything that comes my way. Not to toot my own horn or nothing, but I am a damn good worker with good ethics (daddy didn't raise a fool) and here, noone and I mean noone appreciates it.

So i read this email this morning, the tone is dry and mean, and its basically saying that this needs to be done now. W-T-F???????????????


look I know a lot of you are like Ohmigod don't post this, but honestly, I will remove it in a little bit.

My heart is racing and my adreniline is pumping and I want to just break things. Thats how mad I am.

A job is not supposed to stress you out this much. At all. A little stress is understandable. But now its affecting my home life. And my body. And I can't do this anymore. This isn't fair.

Does anyone know if someone wants to hire someone??? (ME?)

Girls really, what can I do? I know I post all the time that my job suxs and whatever, but this has gone to far. It shouldn't bring me to the point where I am like this.

I think i need to go for a walk. I am really really pulling myself apart at the seams and I need to breathe.

Sorry... I know its a long vent but I'm like ready to have a panic attack... and I can't reach FH on the phone

If this is stressing you out, I would honestly suggest leaving if your finances allow you to. I know it is really hard out there to find a job, although I am sure you have great qualifications!!

I wouldn't be able to make myself sick over a job so I would honestly suggest leaving, since this has been going on for a looooooooooong time now.

You have the next week off right? Why not start sending your resume out there all of next week and hope to get a fresh start for the new year??

I don't know what else to say but for you!!

have you put your resume out there yet? it sounds like you are in a really crappy situation at your job and i would definitely start looking for something else. look on the bright side at least you are off now for a few days with the holidays.

I have been sending it out but nothing worth while yet.... its very hard, but I may just go back to retail position for a while until I can get through this wedding...

I know how you feel and I'm so sorry you have to deal with it! My boss is like that too! He doesn't appreciate ANYTHING and no one around here says please or thank you EVER! Yesterday he gave me a $25 gift card... REALLY? You make 100s of thousands of dollars a year and you give me $25 for all the shitt i have to put up with???

do promotions while u find another ful time job thye pay 20-45$ an hour. sometimes more.

my old job was like that at the end too. i was constantly sick & would spend hours in the bathroom crying.

my best advice is if you live with FH speak with him & figure out if its financially possibly for you to be out of work for a while. if u still live at home, then speak with your family & see if they can help u out.

If you can afford to quit, then I say do it!! If my FH was earning more, I would not be working!! Life is too short for making a job stress you out!! Trust me I know how it feels!! I work in fashion too!! I'm a financial analyst working for wholesale apparel company.

I completely understand where you are coming from. At the end of the day you have to remember that this is just a job. The things that matter are your family, your heath etc. If you really feel unappreciated at work then perhaps this is not the right place for you. Remember, in 10 years you will not care about these people or this job or even remember this. Keep in mind what truly matters in your life.

when a job gets you to that state, you're right, it is time to leave. i've been in those situations before and they never get better ... you just end up resenting it more and more with time. time to get out!

What do you do? my company is hiring for a few diff positions ...
