I have been so bad about checking my registry now that it is the holiday season!! My fiance says he is going to block me from going to the website because I know what everyone is getting us now!

Ladies...just a word of advice from an old married lady !!!
We registered early in our engagement in hopes that we'd get some of the gifts for Christmas and our Birthdays. We were lucky enough to get some things off the registry. But come my shower time.....I felt so bad because my BP planned bridal bingo, which I am a huge fan of, but.....thinking smart...my BM when off my registry list. Well needless to say my MIL needed the Magic Bullet to win and I had opened it on Christmas morning at her house because her cousin got it for me, she wasn't happy because she knew that I wouldn't be opening it at my shower !
My suggestion, if people do purchase things for you for holidays off your registry, delete them from the registry list (of course make sure it works and that you like it first). Otherwise it could possibly make for an awkward situation at your shower!
ETA: Since I got married in August, I did not check my registry after May 15th. I knew my MOH (sister) and mother were acting weird and I really didn't want to ruin any thing for them so I didn't peek!!! I was actually on the LnT website the morning of my shower checking someone elses registry and didn't check mine. And I truly was pleasantly suprised...they had done an amazing job!
