I am thinking of pulling off of my Target registry

I am thinking of pulling off of my Target registry

I have just heard one too many horror stories about people trying to return things from either their wedding or baby registries. I am really thinking about pulling out of Target and putting it all on BBB and using Macys for my more upscale, expensive chinas, etc.

What do you girls think? Please critique my strategy. Anyone else have probs with Target?

my shower invites go out this weekend!

I've heard a lot of horrible things about Target's return policy and opted not to register there. I'm only going with BBB and Macys. They are 2 stores that are everywhere.

hmmm....I am registered at Target too. I hope I do not have problems. I do not have a lot on there, but they do have my plates that I like.

Although I love Target I didn't register there b/c my FSIL had registered there and by the time her shower came a lot of her items were on clearance and/or not available anymore so it was difficult for guests. HTH

We just went to Target today...had no problems with our registry and my sister and multiple guests have purchased gifts and have had no problems. I just have too many things to change, I guess we will see their really bad issues once I have my shower.
Plus I don't have the patience to switch everything over.

i heard the same thing and pulled my registry from target and registered all over again at BBB. i didn;t even go into the store. i logged on, erased everything, and made it so that no one could view it online.

OK!!! Personally i have NEVER had worse experiance than at Target for returns. Im not registered there, however i've purchased gifts there and recieved gifts that had needed to be returned there and its a mess. No questions they dont even look at you. GRRRR. When ever i shop there im there for hours making sure that is what i want, because im scared to try to return!!

I never really had a problem returning to Target. My FBIL registered their last year and I didn't hear anything negative about it. So I am not sure. I am doing BBB and Pampered Chef, though.

I was going to register at Target but decided not to since they BBB had more options and also because I know they give you a hassle just returning stuff in general. So Im going to register at BBB and Macys
