and I feel so horrible about it! Last week I gained one pound but now it's even more. I messed up all week and on the weekend. I ate so much!!!!!! I feel so horrible that I am not even going to my WW meeting tonight. I do not want to be weighed at all! and I don't have my pass that I can use to skip the weigh in. Tomorrow I am putting myself back on! and will be very strict! I am punishing myself for being so bad.

Re: I am totally blowing my diet...
Found this on the WW site. I think it's somewhere between 3 and 4 points. There were a few recipes that people posted
DIET COKE CAKE
servings | 12 estimated POINTS per serving | 4
one can of Diet Coke (this can be regular, vanilla, or cherry
one box Duncan Hines Chocolate Cake Mix
2 egg whites (optional)
Instructions mix cake mix with diet coke (adding egg whites if you wish it to be fluffier). Bake as instructed on box
Notes If you don't add the egg whites these turn out like brownies. You can also use lemon cake and diet gingerale. I generally make individual cakes in muffin tins and freeze so I am not tempted to eat all at once. Enjoy

Re: I am totally blowing my diet...
Wow this all sounds very interesting.
Last night I made dinner for DH's family. I have cooked for DH before and his family has come over before but this is the first time I cooked for them. His sister, husband, and daughter came. His BIL said it was good and that means I passed because when he passes a comment about food that's how you know it was good. what I made was simple. Tomato sauce and pasta and little chicken nuggets and salad. The sauce was already jarred though because my parents are italian and make their own sauce in the summer and they make like 70 jars to have for the year. All I had to do was heat up the sauce again and season it because otherwise you would just be having tomato Juice...LOL and of course the cake that I baked, which was a hit. I always worry that the inside will still be liquidy...LOL but it baked for 45 mins. So I was pretty sure it was done inside.
I hope you all don't think i'm bragging. It's just that before I got married the only thing I knew how to do was boil water...DH says he is very proud of the way I am willing to learn and the things that I have made for him. He doesn't expect big gourmet meals, so he never pressures me in that sense.
Tonight is WW meal...I don't know if i should try their chicken teryaki or the gnocchi dinners.....their smart ones dinners are pretty good. the only one i didnt like was a mexican one.

Re: I am totally blowing my diet...
Congrats on the dinner turning out well.
Goodness knows I'm afraid to cook for my FILs. Although I did make spaghetti and meatsauce for FBIL, and he liked it.
ETA: Thank you Steph for posting the recipe. I've never used egg whites, and I still think it's cakey. Oh, and I don't like coke, so I'm still advocating for diet creme soda. Someday I'll try it with Dr. Brown's Diet Black Cherry.

Bedda congrats on dinner!
PrincessRose, I plan to make the cake tonight if I have time. I wonder if you can use Diet Pepsi (I don't like diet coke).

I know you can use ANY diet soda.
It's the carbonation that makes it work.
