I am unsure as to which invitation I like better...

Please take my poll above regarding different invites.

I have been going back & forth with this for a few days now. I fell in love with the square invite at first (I received it as an invite to a wedding last year) and then I saw the rectangular one. These invites cost a lot of money and I really could not afford these. I have been chatting with Rebecca from Wedding Invitation Design and she has duplicated both of these invites for a lot less money. She has sent me samples in the color my bridesmaids will be wearing (copper). I cannot post the samples as I do not have a scanner.

Can you ladies please tell me which shape you like better, square or rectangular?

I am leaning towards rectangular myself as I like the idea of having the double bow and 2 colors. The ribon colors would be ivory and copper.

One of the reasons I am trying to stay away from the square invite is b/c we received it from one of FH's close friends and they will be invited to our wedding also. Oh, and FH actually gave some input on this and has told me he likes the rectangular one better. I want you all to know, FH has not been very helpful with planning so I am trying to take his answer into consideration.

Obviously the font would be nicer than this font on shown on this card.

I the square one!!!!! The rectangular one is pretty too, but the square one just kinda stands out for me.

One thing to consider - would your invitations be the same color as the invites you got last year from your friend??? If not, then I think that would be enough to set them apart! Also, even if they notice or whatever, maybe they would be flattered that you liked their style?

Thank you ladies for all your input. It looks like the square is definitely the choice of most brides. Although I am still baffled and want to be a little different. I guess that would call for doing the rectangular one then.
