'I better be invited'

So who's gotten that response when you've told people that you're getting married???

One of my co-workers asked me how I was doing and I told her that FH and me are finally going to make things official and get married. She emailed me back and said these three things:

'I better be invited!'
'Why are you getting married in 2009? Why don't you just elope next year?'
'No, wait, 2009 will be better for me so I can find a date.'

Honestly, she is on the initial guest list, but we are trying to keep things small. FH even said to me the other day, 'You need to cut people from your side of the list.'

Now, how do I respond?
