I booked!!! :)

So I went back to the Fox Hollow today and booked my reception... it will be a sat afternoon in June! so excited! now all i gotta do is book my church but does anyone know what an appropriate time for a ceremony would be if the CH starts at 1pm? (not sure how much time a photographer would need for pix!)

Congrats!! There are alot of Fox Hollow brides in 2010

Our CH starts at 1PM as well. Our ceremony begins at 11:30. Most of the photographers we have spoken to said we'd be cutting it close. Luckily the church and hall are close.

I don't know about other churchs but at mine all afternoon weddings begin at 11:30 because they do the funeral masses before that. I think if you could schedule your ceremony at 11 you should be good (depending how far apart the church and RH are)

thanks!!! i know fox hollow was just giving us so much stuff for a great price.

because we're in the afternoon we got the garden terrace for our reception- cocktail hour will be in the garden outside the room if it is a nice day (hopefully) or in the briar fox if the weather's not nice.

what about you?

Outside sounds soooo nice! We're in Feb., so unfortunately anything outdoors is out of the question.

We're in the Winter Garden for CH and Briar Fox for the reception. I originally wanted the WG for the reception but after looking at it, it was just too small, but at least we have it for CH.

Congrats! Another Fox Hollow Bride! Some advice for the church, DO NOT tell them you booked the date. They get really nasty because they think you should book the church first. I still haven't booked the church, they are giving me such a hard time They take such a long time to get back to you and still won't even tell me if the dates available!

Wow I can't believe your church is doing that to you! My church had no problem when we gave them our date. In fact, they didnt even have a date book yet for 2010 to put our date in!!

My church took a really really long time to get back to me--and then dont have a 2010 date book...but they said that they will write the date at the end of the 2009 date book

thanks, a couple of people have mentioned this to me as well! i'm afraid that the priest will question me about to why i want that specific date and i will have to make something up! LOL... i am still waiting for the priest to call me back, hopefully they are starting to take 2010 dates!
