Congrats! I just got married at the Carltun --you will love it!
I have heard some not so good things about Jovon --we used Creative Compositions (also a recommended vendor). You should check them out.
In terms of music for cocktail hour --we had two members from our band play (one played piano and the other a horn). We also got a harpist that greeted guests as they walked in...
If you don't have anyone to play during cocktail hour, they will definitely pipe in music for you.
