I can't believe it!! I went dress shopping today for the first time with the intention of just starting to get a feel for what is out there...and I fell in LOVE with the first dress I tried on! I did not want to take it off! I tried on about 8 or 10 after that, and couldn't wait to get out of them...then tried on mine again and just did not want to take it off again!! It looked perfect...so 'me'. The dress just seems made for me...everyone in the salon was like 'oh this is your dress!' I just love it on me! Yay!! It's a Jim Hjelm, but I have no clue how to post pics, and there is not good pic of it online...
Wow! I now officially feel like a BRIDE!

Thanks girls! I got the dress at Bridal Reflections in Carle Place....they were so nice!! I'm attempting to post a pic from the Jim Hjelm website....but the pic is not that good, bc the model is sitting down...and i feel like the most stunning parts of this dress are the bodice area and the back! The back has a low draped V....a little sexy w/o being too sexy!
The pic is in ivory with gold embroidery...but I ordered it in white (which is sort of like a diamond white) with silver embroidery!

The dress is a 'modified' A-line...it's actually pretty fitted, it's not full like a regular A-line. And the back is just gorgeous!! I am taking my MOH there next Friday to try it on for her, and I will bring my camera and post pics of me in it, so you can see what it looks like front and back!
