I BOUGHT MY WEDDING BAND!!!

I was at the attias flea market tonight and came across a band that was the PERFECT match to my ring. I never thought I would find something. I am soooooo happy. Ill post pics of it with my band next week. They had to keep it to resize it. They are also going to dip my e-ring next week when I pick up the band.. YAY.

Does anyone know how often white gold needs too be dipped?

lol yeah i hate it too. FH was shocked i even wanted to go look, he was like 'im shocked your not all skeeved out right now'. I was, but the booth we got my ring from seemed the least shady so i caved lol.

Don't you hate when you walk around and ppl just ask you 'can I help you can i help you' even when youre not even lookin in their direction!? Drives me crazy, but tis the only place I know to take my watches for batteries, sizing, etc.

My e-ring is white gold and I have had it since Jan 06 and it has never had to be dipped...i think it depends on the person

Hmm i didnt think i needed it until i had it with new rings, mine was soo dull and a bit darker. It could just be dirty but the guy said he thinks i needed it dipped to brighten it.

yeah seriously, and then one place we walked by only sold silver so we told her we were looking for gold and she kept trying to get us to see her neighbor jeweler who had gold. When she saw us walking in the other direction she tried getting us to go to the booth we were passing. 'oh him hes good too'. I hadnt been there in years and I think they actually got worse than what i remember.

My band has more diamond than gold, but I think underneath like by my palm it looks kind of dull...but I was never told it needed to be dipped...maybe I should get it done lol...they say that the chemicals in each persons body reacts differently to white gold

I heard this too. Im not sure why, but if i rub gold on my face it leaves dark black streaks that rub right off, so I guess if my skin is affected by gold, my skin may also affect my gold. If that made sense lol.

LOL giving up some of our hard saved cash was hard

I don't know when it has to be dipped but I guess you can tell. Like my ring I have had since Dec. 2005 is starting to turn gold on the bottom so I guess that I'm going to get my ring dipped when I get my band this way they will both look new.
