I cannot belive how big peoples mouths are... shower related.... ETC.VENT

Well, I have already figured out when and where my shower is... due to the fact that people keep slipping... and I also cannot believe the things people have expected me to do... Ee:
A BM asked me if her 2 sisters were invited to the wedding, another one told me she is looking for my shower gift, etc. I guess i will be surpirsed when I walk into the room were my shower is, but still, why can't people keep there mouths shut... The list goes on and on.... Anyone else experiencing this?

I'm sorry that some people have such abig mouth. Try and enjoy it anyway. As for me, my mother keeps telling me that she' sending out the invites for my shower soon. Ah, the joy of weddings.

That is crummy! I had my own sister ask if she can invite a friend. I don't know where people are coming from with wanting to bring whoever they want.

What you're not into walking into a room of stranger/friends and family and try to act surprised as you move through an almost play like shower?

Seriouly though, from a girl who isnt' having a shower, just enjoy the moment.

This was the one thing I did not want to know about, my shower. Besides the fact there is 1 girl who has yet to call my sister back from 2 months ago, who is in the wedding. My whole bridal party keeps spilling things left and right. I know I probably am sounding like a spoiled brat, I hope I am not because, I am, far from one, but I wanted to be totally surprised about this, it has been very hard on me because my Mom and Dad have both passed on. Planning a wedding is hard enough, but when your Mom and Dad are gone every day of planning is just a reminder. I just needed to vent there. I am sure I will be overwhelmed when I do walk in .

I understand where you are coming from, with people acting like they can invite the whole world to the wedding and the shower. Our guaranatee is 100, and we told them we would have about 140 people, well the list is up to 186! FH and I have been combing it trying to cut it, but it is impossible without offending anyone. Luckily the room holds 200 people.

You know who keeps on slipping??? Not my girls... but my FI!!!!
He's in on it with my mom and MOH, and he's telling me that they are not inviting so-and so and they want to keep it small and they are looking at places...etc.... SHUT UP!!
I agree. This is the one thing i don't want to know about, and he won't stop!
