I just started taking Yasmin about a month and a half ago. So far, its been great (I've been on others, and the initial side effects were a lot worse than Yasmin). BUT I just cannot stop itching. I know it sounds wired, but has anyone ever had any side effects like this while taking Yasmin.
Its so frustrating, I called the doctor this morning, and they aren't open yet

I take Yasmin, but i never had any itching. That's weird, I wonder what the doctor will say

I didn't have itching but I did have every horrible side effect you can think of. I know many girls do OK with yasmin and like it...every body is different...but if you get a chance, go to google and look up 'side effects of yasmin'. It'll bring you to a site where people who were on it comment what it did to their body. I felt like i was crawling out of my own skin most of the time and couldn't breathe..thats how badly it affected me!

Isn't this so bizarre!! I feel like a freak! I did I google search and I did see some stuff that associates Yasmin with rash and allergic reaction. The doctor will be there this afternoon. I cant wait to find out.

Wow, that's weird! I can't imagine why it's making you itchy. Have you switched laundry detergents or soaps in the past month or so? Do you use a daily moisturizer? Have you switched that?
I only ask b/c I've had weird itching episodes before, and so far they have always been caused by one of these two things - allergy to a new soap, or not using a rich enough moisturizer, especially in the winter.
Hope it goes away soon!!!
ETA: Just saw your post...at least there's some comfort in knowing that this is happening to others taking Yasmin!

Oh my God, I just looked the link posted, and I am glad I don't have any of the symptoms some other people have. And yeah, at first I thought it was the detergent, or the soap, but its all the same stuff I usually use. I started using a very thick moisturizer when this first started about 3 week ago. For the life of me, I can't figure out what's causing this. The only medication I take is Yasmin, so I don't know what else to think at this point. Doctor's office isn't open till 3. Ugh, so annoying

where do you itch? certain spot or all over?

Mostly on my legs, and there are like little bumps. I tried putting benadryl cream on the spots that started itching, but its not really working. And my gyno office is ususally late opening.(or answering the phone)
