My FILs live out of town and asked me a long time ago to book a hotel so they could make a reservation. I booked a block at a hotel last spring break (almost a year ago) and I let them know right away... jump to a year later and they did not make a reservation and the hotel is booked. They said they didn't understand that the hotel could book up and its my fault for not explaining it to them. The worst part is they were sopped to book a room for FH and now he has no place to stay the night before except for my grandmothers house.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHH makes me crazy!

Let it out gurl! That sucks!!! I feel bad for your fh. But no worries everything will work out. I'm sure they can find another hotel. And trust me you are not alone!

omg i totally feel your pain! My fathers side of the family never booked the room and now they call my parents EVERY DAY asking if any rooms opened up yet at our hotel. Like why wait so long?
Try calling your hotel and ask if they can refer you to another hotel for a 2nd block. thats what i did

People never listen!!! You can tell them until your blue in the face. Try another hotel that is closer or keep checking to see if any rooms open up.

Thanks ladies.
I called the hotel today and they were able to get a room for my FH for the night before the wedding. I gave his parents a list of other hotels. I am not booking for them since then they will blame anything and everything that goes wrong on me. They will have to call and book for themselves but at least I got what my FH what he wanted.

dont worry-you are gonna be a great wife! you did all you could and honestly FH parents are always so self centered. Best of luck and so happy for u!
