I SENT MY INVITES OUT THIS MORNING!!!!

It's kind of weird knowing that the responses will be back soon!!! I spent 30 min's hand cancelling the envelopes and making sure the ink did not rub off on the other invites!!

ok, stupid question...what does 'hand canceling' mean?

Instead of your invite going through a postage machine you stamp part of the stamp and the envelope.

How do you get the stamp? Do you have to pay for it?

Nope it's the post office's stamp with the date and the post office's name on it.

hand cancelling means the envelope does not go through the machine and get all the other stamping on it. Just looks nicer. You dont pay extra, just tell them at the post office that's what you want!! Have fun counting the 'yes' responses!
