It is less than 5 months from our wedding and he still has not asked his friends to be his GM and best man.....what the heck is he waiting for , the day before the wedding? Any one else have this problem?

my fh didn't wait that long but he did wait longer than i wanted and it drove me NUTS!! ugh, get on his case already!! i can just imagine how annoyed you must be!

Oh wow! He needs to get a move on it. I kept annoying FH about it, but most of it was family for him. He asked them pretty early on.

I finally just asked FH's best friend to be his groomsman. I'm really close to him, too, so it wasn't that weird. (He's only having his brother as best man and one groomsman.)

FH still has to ask all of his GMs too. I don't know why they wait so long......
He did kind ask 3 of his cousins (all older in mid to late 30's) who he is close to each in his own way. One said he would love to do it and the other 2 didn't give much of a response. He isn't sure if he should just forget about them or ask them again. He doesn't want them to feel obligated but he thought they would have given him more than just a head nod.... He feels it should be an honor to be asked and if they really wanted to do it they would have said so. What do u guys think????

I think he should ask them again. As far as my FH he says I know that they will say yes so what's the rush? Are you effing kidding me? He only has to ask 3 guys and he sees or talks to them just about every day, so there is no excuse. Sorry just had to vent.

I sympathize..He hasn't even mentioned to his brother that he wants him to be the best man or if he has decided to have both brothers be best men. He lives in the same darn house!!!!!!!!!! I need to know !!!!!!!!!!!!! Good thing he keeps talking about getting tuxes so maybe things will change sooner rather than later!!!!!!!!! Good luck!

We've been engaged since June 08 and FH has still not asked. He keeps saying that his 'boys will just know' i dont even know what he's planning to do.
